The Gulf Bird

I happened to be at the beach not to long ago here in Duval County when I saw this bird and with camera in hand I took a quick snapshot. Then the Gulf spill happened and somehow this pic made a little ditty in my mind and I envisioned the bird sitting on a fence in the gulf watching the oil come end, thus the creation of this piece of art called "The Gulf Bird."

Pink Shoes

  One important thing in photographing a wedding is to listen to your subjects. During the planning phase for this particular series of shots it became clear to me she was in love with her pink shoes just as much as she was with her dress. She had mentioned that pink was her favorite color, so when the opportunity arose I placed her in a position to highlight her shoes.
